Meditate with crystals

So, you've pick your crystals.  What next? You may wonder what you can do with your crystals. Meditating with your crystals is a great way to harness their powerful vibrational energies.

So what is meditation? Meditation is a state of mental relaxation and calm. Meditating clears the mind of negative energies and promotes a sense of awareness. People meditate for different reasons. You can meditate for relaxation, healing, grounding, spiritual guidance, and clearing up chakras. Meditating with crystals facilitates deeper focus. And with intentions, it will guide you to specific outcomes you desire.

So pick a crystal and a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.  Settle yourself in a comfortable position. Hold the crystal in your hand or place it in front of you. When you are ready, breathe gently while clearing your mind. Start off by focusing on your breathing. Take a long and gentle breath in. As you breath out, let go of any negative energies you may be feeling. Feel the energy of the crystal in your hand travelling through your body. Connect yourself with the crystal and explore its properties. Communicate your intentions to the crystal. Tune yourself to the energy of the crystal and direct it towards a specific area that requires healing. Once you are finished, let the energy slowly settle and then open your eyes. Place the crystal aside and stand up, grounding your feet firmly on the floor. Have a good stretch and feel revitalised!

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to meditate. Do what you feel is right and comfortable. Do it for 10 minutes, 30 minutes or longer if time allows. Don't worry if you don't feel anything the first few times. Make sure you open up your mind and let the crystal guide you. The more you do it, the better you will be at concentrating and discovering your higher self. So, relax, revitalise and recondition...

We'd love to hear about how you meditate and your experiences. Share it with us below.
